HOTEL AWARDED 97 PER CENT IN WORLD WIDE AUDIT

Days Hotel Chester North has been recognised as ‘excellent’ in a brand engagement audit carried out by the world’s largest hotel chain.
General manager Matt Knight was awarded an outstanding score of 97.4 per cent by Wyndham Hotel Group, which owns the Days Hotel brand.

The criteria for the audit included customer satisfaction with all hotel residents completing a questionnaire about their stay at the venue, which recently underwent a £1m refurbishment.
Matt said:
“The Days Hotel brand was introduced to the venue in November and to turn it around in just over six months says a lot about our strengths.
Guest experience and expectation is of the utmost importance to us so to be recognised with the highest ever score recorded by our auditor by the biggest hotel group in the world is very encouraging.
Days Hotel is world-renowned, standing for affordable quality and this audit acknowledges that Days Hotel Chester North successfully embraces these aspects.”
Days Hotel Chester North, owned and operated by Sanguine Hospitality Management Company, recorded a 279 per cent increase in profit for its year end 2009 compared to the same period last year.

Staff numbers at the Flintshire-based hotel, which has 40 bedrooms, remained constant during the period, at 30 employees.

Matt added:
“Our focus is on providing a welcoming atmosphere to residents and excellent facilities which is reflected in the positive feedback we receive from customers.  We will work hard to ensure we continue to provide this level of service.”
