Days Hotel Chester North has been recognised as ‘excellent’ in a brand engagement audit carried out by the world’s largest hotel chain.
General manager Matt Knight was awarded an outstanding score of 97.4 per cent by Wyndham Hotel Group, which owns the Days Hotel brand.
The criteria for the audit included customer satisfaction with all hotel residents completing a questionnaire about their stay at the venue, which recently underwent a £1m refurbishment.
“The Days Hotel brand was introduced to the venue in November and to turn it around in just over six months says a lot about our strengths.

Days Hotel is world-renowned, standing for affordable quality and this audit acknowledges that Days Hotel Chester North successfully embraces these aspects.”Days Hotel Chester North, owned and operated by Sanguine Hospitality Management Company, recorded a 279 per cent increase in profit for its year end 2009 compared to the same period last year.
Staff numbers at the Flintshire-based hotel, which has 40 bedrooms, remained constant during the period, at 30 employees.
