Management at the region’s premier hotel are planning a recruitment open day as they look for more staff to work at the four-star venue.
Taking place at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House on 11 August 2010 the drive for more members of staff is needed as the hotel increases its capacity by 60 new rooms to 132 following the completion of a new £5 million extension.
With occupancy levels consistently reaching 80% the demand for quality accommodation in the region was clearly evident and the new extension will not only mean more people can stay and enjoy the luxury surroundings of the boutique-style hotel but host more events such as conferences, business meetings and weddings which before, it had to turn away.
This increased capacity has therefore meant an increase in the number of people needed to work at the venue which already tops 200 people.
There are a variety of roles including room attendants, cleaning staff as well as food and beverage staff with the successful applicants expected to start before 1 September.
Mark Hands, group general manager said:
“Work on the extension is nearing completion so we now need to find the right staff to work here. It’s fantastic news that we’re able to offer more jobs for people living in the local area and look forward to seeing as many people on 11 August.”
Those interested will need to visit The Masters Room between 4.30pm - 8.30pm. For further information please contact Shezan Aslam on 07500 805631 or firstname.lastname@example.org
