Four hands are better than two

Press Release
Issue Date: 20.09.11

A LOCAL spa is to debut the ultimate indulgent experience with a treatment boasting pleasure and relaxation times two.

The Club and Spa at Hoole Hall will be doubling up on massage therapists this September and launching Chester’s first four handed massage treatment.

As the name suggests, the four handed massage involves two therapists working as a team to treat one recipient simultaneously.

Both therapists work in a closely choreographed process, combing long, slowing strokes with other traditional massage techniques designed to relax the body.

The Club and Spa’s award winning therapist, Rebecca Cranfield, says:

It’s a great pleasure to bring this truly unique and wonderful treatment to our clients at the Club and Spa.

The amount of attention and relaxation we can provide with two therapists really is out of this world.

Each and every individual who has experienced the treatment has been delighted with the results. It really is the most fantastically relaxing experience and I encourage everybody to try it at least once in their life.

The four handed massage offers many of the same benefits of a regular massage, however at double the rate. Blood circulation and the amount of muscle easing are both highly increased and the client is allowed greater relaxation. Athletes also gain great benefits from four hand massages as it is believed their injuries heal faster with this type of massage.

The Club and Spa at Hoole Hall is tucked away within the Victorian walled garden of DoubleTree by Hilton Chester. The multi-million pound, purpose-built facility boasts a next generation gym and an industry leading spa, set over three spacious floors.
