Busting a sweat for the big yellow bear

Members and staff from Chester’s leading health and spa destination joined together to embark on a 12-hour triathlon to raise funds for charity.

The charitable feat took place at the Club and Spa at Hoole Hall on Friday November 18 and helped raised £277.28 for Children in Need.

The Club and Spa Children in Need triathlon invited staff and members to contribute to the 12-hour task by agreeing to 30-minute slots of either swimming, running or cycling throughout the day.

Spa visitors, guests and other members showed their support by making donations in collection buckets across the establishment.

Club and Spa General Manager, Darren Dixon says: “It was great to see the staff and our members working together to raise vital funds for such a worthy cause.”

Therapists from the spa were also on hand throughout the day offering mini-manicures to guests and members for £5, which all went to Children in Need.

Darren continues: “We were all so impressed with the dedication shown during the triathlon and the hard work from the therapists, who painted 180 nails during the day. A massive thank you to everyone involved and for all the generous donations made.”
